Company timeline

Early 1980s

UNIT4 commences trading (as do the Agresso and CODA businesses).

Early 1990s

UNIT4 business refocused on Windows-based financial Management and security applications.

1998

UNIT4 goes public, to pursue acquisition and growth strategy

2000

Merger with Agresso - the international customer base for Agresso Business World puts the business on an international footing

2001

UNIT 4 Agresso joins top quoted shares on Dutch Stock Market (Amsterdam Midcap index).

2002

Strategic OEM agreement signed with Sabre Holdings.

2003

Acquisition Agresso Americas and Fininfor (France).

2004

Acquisition of Agresso Spain, SPAI (Spain), ESV (Sweden) and Decade (Netherlands).

2005

Launch of Agresso Business World 5.5 - the most advanced and sophisticated version of the system, yet.

 

Acquisition of MCA (UK)

2006

Acquisition of:

  • CCS in Spain,
  • Dogro and Kirp in Germany
  • 50% of Amedia in the Netherlands

2007

Acquisition of Nextlearn in Sweden

2008

Acquisition of the CODA group, worldwide, to become the 5th largest ERP player in Western Europe.

2009

Ranked as a top six mid-market ERP software player globally and the 2nd largest European ERP supplier.

2010

Group rebranded to UNIT4 to provide a single clear global platform for customer service and continuing growth.
