Unit 4 Agresso celebrates customer success at Accountancy Age Awards 2009

Leading global business and financial software provider Unit 4 Agresso is celebrating the success of its Agresso and CODA customers in the prestigious Accountancy Age Awards 2009. The awards were announced at a gala dinner held in London on 18th November 2009 and presented by TV personality Rory Bremner.

Ealing Council, an Agresso customer, was the first of two customers to be recognised by the diverse and influential judging panel. The Council received the award for Finance Team of the Year in the Public and Voluntary sector.

Meanwhile HSBC, a CODA customer, saw Douglas Flint its Group Finance Director receive the Outstanding Lifetime Achievement award.

Unit 4 Agresso’s own CODA Financials and CODA Dream solutions were finalists in the Enterprise and Mid-Tier Software Package of the Year categories. A regular on the shortlist, CODA has won 7 times since 2001 with CODA Financials topping the Enterprise Software category 5 times and CODA Dream winning Best Mid-Tier Package twice.  The company did not enter the awards in 2006.

These awards and strong financial results announced recently demonstrate further that 2009 has been a successful year for the Group and its customers, all of whom have made consistent progress in a difficult year. 2010 will continue to pose challenges as the economy embarks on recovery but Unit 4 Agresso is ideally positioned to help organisations to embrace the changes that the year will bring.
