Unit4 is proud to be certified to the Cloud Industry Forum Code of Practice
About the Cloud Industry Forum
The Cloud Industry Forum (CIF) was established in 2009 to provide transparency through certification to a Code of Practice for credible online Cloud service providers and to assist end users in determining core information necessary to enable them to adopt these services.
What does certification mean?
The CIF Code of Practice requires suppliers to demonstrate ethical and transparent delivery of hosted and cloud services. This means that commercial and public sector organisations, that are often under pressure to deliver flexible modern systems through cloud computing, can mitigate risk and make rational, informed decisions about the likely trading relationship they can expect with prospective vendors.
“Standards are key to arriving at a common framework for cloud services, encouraging end-user confidence, removing any uncertainty and building a solid base upon which innovation can thrive.”
Alex Hilton, CEO, Cloud Industry Forum
Guidance from the Cloud Industry Forum
As a n-f-p industry body, CIF provides guidance for individuals that consume cloud services, use cloud technologies, or assess, design, procure or manage cloud environments through its Individual Membership programme. The Cloud Industry Forum has undertaken a significant body of research to investigate trends in end user adoption of cloud services across the UK. Download:
