The Unit4 Spring 2017 release of Business World On! is all about rethinking the way we optimize operations by helping you get the most out of your people, projects and assets.

We’re pleased to introduce three new and/or improved capabilities that can impact your people positively by eliminating manual processes through a smart approach, provide enhanced support for distributed process control and give you enhanced control over the distribution of information are:

Dynamic Forms, giving you:

  • Improved efficiency; and
  • Higher quality data.

Online Workflow process designer, providing:

  • All the benefits of our powerful workflow engine, now online;
  • More efficient ways to create and maintain workflow process diagrams; and
  • Without the need to rebuild existing workflow process definitions.

Information browser 2.0:

  • Providing one single starting point for reporting and planning processes;
  • Enabling easier and more flexible access to business data for more users;
  • Increased information value through easy report creation and efficient distribution; and
  • Improved governance, supported central creation, and easy management of reporting content.

When it comes to Projects, the focus this spring is on new capabilities that will impact projects by providing a fresh new approach to project (portfolio) control, a new dashboard that provides deep insights into business impacts, and a new module we think will provide increased accountability for research focused scenarios.

Project 360 Workspace, providing:

  • Single entry point for the Project Manager;
  • Project-centric user experience for the Project Manager;
  • Efficient project management and control;
  • The ability to respond faster to system alerts;
  • Easy access to data supporting actionable insight; and
  • Fast access to project ‘tools’ for action.

Performance Management Dashboards for PSO give you a simple and engaging UI to help you:

  • Act with access to underlying metrics.

Research – Participant Costing, with improvements such as:

  • Now the module can be used to cost almost any project;
  • Opens the door to other verticals using the module, such as NFP;
  • The product can be used for fixed price contracts or time and material contracts simply by using fixed price Lists or time-based Price Lists; and
  • Huge improvements in flexibility.
