Unit4 announces record 70% growth in SaaS bookings and plans to enhance product and service excellence for accelerated growth

Utrecht, Netherlands, January 12, 2015 – Unit4, the global leader in software that supports business change, today announced record growth in 2014 reporting an increase in SaaS bookings of more than 70% with SaaS revenues exceeding perpetual license revenues. At the same time Unit4 continued growth in perpetual licenses. This makes Unit4 one of the fastest growing global enterprise software companies.

Early last year, Unit4 strengthened its leadership team and announced an ambitious strategy.  “The Company’s 2014 results clearly demonstrate that our team is embracing our change agenda and executing it successfully,” said Jose Duarte, CEO of Unit4. Additional strategic initiatives are planned in 2015 that will further increase the growth and capitalize on the SaaS market opportunity that is driven by the developing subscription economy.

The new organization will provide better and globally consistent services and support through initiatives including:

-          The creation of a near-shore center of expertise for professional services that will ensure speed of delivery and compelling value for customers worldwide, and

-          A next generation global support infrastructure for customers, offering unrivalled support services through user communities and quick access to product specialists.

In addition Unit4 plans to enlarge its ecosystem by launching a global partner program offering new business opportunities for partners to extend the company’s sales and delivery capabilities offering customers added value and choice.

The process of building this scalable technology and service offering will result in the further build-up of R&D, Professional Services and Customer Support in Spain, Portugal and Poland.
