prevero, a Unit4 company and a leading provider of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, today announced that Carglass in Germany (known as Autoglass in the UK), has selected its cloud-based planning software. The car glass replacement specialist will replace error-prone Excel-based processes with prevero as it seeks to streamline, automate and modernise its business planning, data management, budgeting and forecasting.
With prevero, Carglass will be able to create top-down forecasts and budgets for each of its 330 individual branches in Germany, without the need to enter and consolidate large volumes of data manually into a number of linked Excel files. As a result, Carglass will reduce the time taken to process and consolidate significant volumes of complex data and allow its teams to focus on more strategic, value-add activities. In selecting cloud-deployment, Carglass also benefits from secure access to up to date, reliable and comprehensive data at any time and from any location.
In addition to budgeting and forecasting prevero will play a vital role in a number of Carglass’s wider business planning processes including employment assignment, investment, balance sheet and cash flow calculations.
"prevero will enable us to achieve a significantly higher degree of accuracy in budgeting and clearer insights into our data.”Marko Klapproth, Finance Controlling Manager at Carglass
Marko Klapproth, Finance Controlling Manager at Carglass: "As an expanding business generating a lot of information around the diverse services we undertake for our customers, we recognise the importance of having full transparency and accuracy when it comes to our data management as well as our financial and operational planning processes. Indeed, we are dealing with around 1.6 million customer invoices each year and that is growing, so it was clear to us that our Excel based systems were simply not capable of keeping up with our informational and planning needs. In selecting prevero we have both a solution that will enable us to achieve a significantly higher degree of accuracy in budgeting and clearer insights into our data as well as a partner who understands the needs of our business.”
Alexander Springer, CEO and co-founder of prevero: "Carglass is a major brand in Germany and we are delighted that our solutions and approach to this project are helping to ensure it achieves its objectives. This is a long term partnership for us and we are excited about the benefits we are delivering already and to seeing Carglass expand this success in the future.”
