You have been with Macaw for 22 years. Can you tell us a bit more about the company?

Macaw is a full-service digital agency with offices in the Netherlands, Germany and Lithuania. By connecting business insights with the best people and first-class technology from partners Microsoft and Sitecore, we strive for the best results, realizing long term relations with our customers.

What makes our organization unique is our love for challenges, which results in a collaborative and innovative culture, and our people focused approach. That led to us being listed 7th in the 2020 Great Place to Work ranking.

Why did you select Unit4’s ERP solution?

We looked for a technology platform that would meet our business needs and would support our strategic growth plans. We chose Unit4 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) as this solution aligns Finance, Projects, Operations, HR, and reporting functions and also delivers regular functionality updates to make maintenance and changes simple and straightforward. Furthermore, Unit4 showed us real commitment to and knowledge of our industry, and their solution consultants have a deep understanding of our business challenges.

Why did you move to the cloud?

For several years we’d been using an on-premise, bespoke Professional Services Automation system, but it didn’t align with our future plans and took too much time and effort to maintain. We needed to move to a modern, cloud-based, integrated suite that was tailored specifically for Professional Services Organizations (PSOs) and which offered flexibility and reduced maintenance.  

By moving to a cloud-based offering for PSO’s we will be able to standardize our processes and it will enable us to grow.
