
Unit4 customer announced as Overall Winner at 14th annual Ventana Research Digital Leadership Awards
Each year, Ventana Research hosts its Annual Digital Leadership Awards. These awards celebrate organizations and individuals (and their supporting technology vendors) that make use of technology to build resilience and readiness across business and IT. Helping to recognize those individuals that embrace technology to help them lead their companies and optimize the readiness of their people, processes, data, and systems to grow their business’s impact and potential.
This years’ awards covered 10 categories: Analytics, Customer Experience, Data, Digital Business, Digital Technology, Human Capital Management, Marketing, Office of Finance, Operations & Supply Chain and Sales, along with an Overall Award winner selected from the final judging of businesses and leaders across all categories.
We’re pleased to say that our customer Migros Aare has been named this year’s Overall Winner in recognition of their work using Unit4 solutions to maximize the value of the organizations’ assets – across people, processes, information, and technology.
As part of the judging process, Ventana Research examined case studies and submissions to evaluate nominee outcomes from the use of technology, their methodologies and best practices, and the impact and business value derived from their efforts.
Using Unit4 solutions, Migros Aare, one of the largest retail companies in Switzerland, have been able to create a truly exceptional operating environment by creating a unified system for all supermarket store KPIs, forecasts, and budget – creating forecasts for personnel costs that are over 99% accurate, and increasing the number of their stores achieving target personnel costs by over two thirds.
Project leader, Theres Stefan told us “We’ve worked hard in partnership with Unit4 and its FP&A tool to build an entirely unique Retail Performance Management system. It provides high levels of interlinked forecast accuracy for sales and personnel costs and is being used in 125 Migros Aare supermarkets and in its restaurants and specialist stores. With the convenience of having all store KPIs, forecast, and budget information in a single tool, Migros Aare is better equipped to achieve full potential in every store. And the lessons learned from successful stores provide a sound basis for future revenue growth. To be announced the Overall Winner in Ventana’s 14th Annual Digital Leadership Awards speaks to the demonstrable success of this project.”
