UNIT4 Agresso chosen to meet the demands of international non-profit based in South Korea

Agresso ERP enables The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) to manage donors and reduce administrative spending

Singapore; Seoul, S. Korea; and Victoria, BC,

UNIT4 Business Software, the global leader in software solutions that enable business change, today announced that the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) has deployed its Agresso Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, proven to meet the demands of global not-for-profit organizations, to provide operational support for its donor management.

Based in Seoul, GGGI is an inter-governmental organization established to support and promote a new model of economic development known as “green growth.” The organization partners with countries to help them build economies that are more efficient and sustainable in their use of natural resources, less carbon intensive, and more resilient to climate change.

GGGI selected UNIT4’s Agresso ERP solution to streamline its finance, procurement and human resources departments. It enables GGGI to manage donors and their donations transparently and efficiently, better supporting its nonprofit strategy for green growth in developing countries.

"GGGI is very pleased to be partnering with UNIT4 to help meet our organization's resource planning needs," said Robert Dawson, Deputy Director-General at GGGI. "UNIT4's Agresso is user-friendly and accessible by remote workers from mobile devices, which suits a modern, forward-looking organization like GGGI."

Non-profit organizations face constant scrutiny and need to be agile, transparent and accountable at all times. Managing change is a constant challenge with fluctuating funding levels, new funding structures, and evolving regulatory, donor and tax reporting requirements just some of the challenges. It’s crucial that organizations experiencing these pressures can make good strategic decisions, maximize the use of resources and satisfy the reporting requirements of many stakeholders.

“Agresso has a proven track record among non-profit organizations and we are experiencing an uptake in adoption of our software in this sector across the region,” said Jack van der Velde, Managing Director, Asia Pacific at UNIT4. “Agresso enables GGGI to significantly reduce the time and money it spends on administrative processes so it can remain flexible and focused on its core business and values related to green growth.”

UNIT4 works with more than 100 of the largest NGOs, non-profit associations and foundations around the world including Marie Stopes International, The Red Cross and Save the Children International.
