UNIT4, the global leader in software that supports business change, today announced The Storebrand Group as its first customer under the new partnership agreement with Norway’s largest IT company, EVRY. The partnership increases the focus on delivering digital era enterprise solutions to the financial sector in Scandinavia.
The extended partner agreement means that EVRY will become UNIT4’s primary partner in the financial sector. Under the agreement, EVRY will offer Agresso ERP to new and existing customers within the banking and financial sectors. The initial agreement covers the Norwegian market with a scope to extend to other countries.
The first customer signed under the new agreement is The Storebrand Group, a leading player in the Nordic market for long-term savings and insurance. The company has also established life insurance, asset management and health insurance activities in Sweden with more than 2.250 employees. Storebrand operates a total of 1.8 million customers in Norway and Sweden, helping them make the best financial choices for their different needs and situations.
Storebrand expects to achieve a variety of gains with the new Agresso finance system from EVRY. “A common Nordic solution enables significantly more simplified reporting compared with the current multi system solution. Important management information becomes more accessible, which provides a basis for better decision at all levels in the organization. The system is adapted to our business model and gives us better flexibility regarding adaptation to new and changing reporting needs,” said Knut Georg Arnø, Head of Accounting at Storebrand.

EVRY has more than 20 years of experience with Agresso in the Norwegian market. The Group has a large Agresso academic base and Arnø underlines the importance of EVRY’s industry expertise and experience with Agresso. This also means that EVRY can implement cost effectively and that the system has a low life cycle cost compared to other systems.
The financial sector partnership between EVRY and UNIT4, which is already proving an attractive one to prospects, supports UNIT4’s global partner ecosystem expansion. UNIT4 is aggressively recruiting partners with international reach, extending the company’s sales and delivery capabilities and offering customers added value and choice.
“Our strong position and knowledge of core processes within banking, finance and insurance, combined with UNIT4’s market leading solutions, deliver a safe and future-proof choice for these industries,” said Anne-Cecilie Fagerlie, SVP for EVRY Industries.
“This is a strategically important agreement for us,” said Finn Folling, Nordic Partner Director at UNIT4. “EVRY provides far better access and delivery capabilities into a market where we have all the right solutions and technology to deliver value and gain significant market share. Our renewed focus on partners globally will open up new markets to us while providing customers and partners with an alternative to traditional solution providers."
