Unit4 Appoints Industry Veteran to Lead Not-for-Profit Center of Excellence

Unit4, a world leader in enterprise systems for services organizations, today announced the appointment of Rob Gethen Smith to lead its Not-for-Profit Center of Excellence.

Rob is a Not-for-Profit industry specialist having worked in the sector for the last 20 years. Prior to Unit4, he was a partner at charity and membership specialists, Adapta Consulting, where he advised charities and non-profits on the effective use of information systems. He is also a trustee for the international animal welfare charity SPANA, where he chairs the Fundraising and Communications sub-committee. Rob has worked as CIO at Anthony Nolan, Southbank Centre, Tate and Macmillan Cancer Support, and as customer engagement director at Blackbaud, developing business and technology strategies and leading change initiatives. His first role in the non-profit sector was as Head of Membership Services and then Deputy Director of Fundraising at the World Wildlife Fund in the UK.
