Unit4, a leader in enterprise cloud applications for people-centric organizations, today announced that Golden Lane Housing, has selected Unit4 ERP and FP&A solutions to provide a future proof digital platform to streamline operations and transform the way it plans and manages projects.

Golden Lane Housing works with people with a learning disability to provide supported housing around which they can build their lives. They were established as an independent registered charity by Mencap in 1998 and have been registered with the RSH since 2005. Since their inception they have invested £129.9 million transforming the lives of over 1,969 people with a wide range of needs in more than 1,184 properties across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Each year they house over 250 people and continually find innovative ways to provide suitable housing solutions in this ever-changing society.

Golden Lane Housing is investing in it’s first own ERP system with Unit4’s fully integrated, best in class cloud solution. Unit4 ERP and FP&A offer tools that are rich in industry-specific functionality, supporting them to be fast, resilient and adaptable. Unit4’s cloud ERP platform also provides the freedom to connect and extend industry-specific online data services and solutions quickly and easily so they can be effective, and compliant.

By implementing Unit4 ERP and FP&A, Golden Lane Housing will benefit from:

  • A modern, people-centric, and future-proofed solution, purpose-built for public sector organizations, with pre-configured processes and the ability to adapt the solution as required for quicker time-to-value
  • An integrated and responsive cloud platform that shares real-time information, enabling automated and streamlined processes for better insight and alignment
  • Improved operational resilience through accurate forecasting and quick response times to change, scale and improve institutional effectiveness
  • More efficient processes and better visibility to forecast and allocate resources more effectively, with simple access to data and insights for smarter, faster decision making across finance and front-line teams.

The implementation will see Unit4 working collaboratively with its Global Service Partner of the year and social housing expertsIntegra Associates, who were engaged throughout the evaluation process, offering their functional and industry expertise to show how Unit4 ERP could be configured to meet Golden Lane Housing’s requirements. Integra Associates’ tried and tested ERP implementation methodology for the social housing sector, was key in Golden Lane’s decision to opt for Unit4.
