GBS Selects Unit4’s Complete Enterprise Cloud Suite to Deliver World Class Student Services

Unit4, a leader in enterprise cloud applications for mid-market services organizations, today announced that GBS has selected Unit4’s complete product suite, including ERPx, the next-generation intelligent Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution built specifically for mid-market, people-centric organizations, to support its growth and deliver automation and control across the entire student lifecycle. A purpose-built, agile, and responsive cloud platform will optimize the flow of information throughout the organisation, enabling staff to spend more time focused on delivering high quality education and student services.

GBS is a higher education provider offering a range of industry-focused courses across five campuses in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds. They work in partnership with several leading UK universities to deliver vocational, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes.

The school has major expansion plans and expects a large increase in student numbers during the academic year 2021/22 and beyond. As the student population grows so does that of the staff, with expectations to increase the current team from 200 to over 750. The existing systems in place covering student management, finance, HCM and budgeting, cannot scale and flex to support this growth.
