NEOMA Business School chooses Unit4’s Student Management to enhance its students’ user experience

Bristol, UK and Dublin, Ireland,

Unit4, a fast growing leader in enterprise applications for service organizations, today announced that NEOMA Business School has embarked on a major strategic overhaul by adopting the Unit4 Student Management solution in the cloud, a next-generation digital ERP, designed and specifically tailored for the Higher Education market.

NEOMA Business School’s philosophy is to embrace opportunities afforded by digital transformation. The School chose to implement a next-generation digital ERP in order to secure its position as a leader in its field. It was also important to cater to the needs of an increasingly demanding student population that is used to a personal high-tech environment, by offering the same technical standards and user experience they have at home.

NEOMA Business School is also delivering on its reputation in the market as an innovator, one of the main reasons why it chose the Unit4 Student Management solution. This strategic choice will allow NEOMA to offer its various stakeholders (students, teachers, partners, employees etc...) a unique user experience and increase the quality of service on a daily basis.

“Deploying an ERP project isn’t an IT project but a true transversal company project,” said says Frank Bostyn, Managing Director of NEOMA Business School. “By configuring and securing the industry-specific application at the core of the solution we are actually simplifying and automating the generic tasks while leveraging performance and beneficial impact for our students. That’s what we’re aiming for. Running a digital leading edge ERP solution while offering unparalleled quality of service in record time is our way of encouraging our staff to spend more time on projects that generate more added value for our students.”

This new holistic solution will mainly focus on the student management process of the school. It will manage the student’s lifecycle from beginning to end from the moment they are admitted up until graduation, post-graduate career placement, further education and alumni.

The system’s user interfaces are very user-friendly and flexible. Students, via their personal account, will be able to:

  • Access intuitive applications to follow up on their study program (schedule, marks, courses…) in a matter of clicks.
  • Communicate with their target audience (teachers, support services…)

“We chose Unit4 for its know-how and expertise in delivering solutions that meet the ever evolving standards in education,” added Frank Bostyn.

“For over 20 years now we have developed and honed a unique expertise in education boasting more than 1000 schools across the globe,” said Christophe Vanackere, Managing Director of Unit4 France. “This year, Unit4 released a completely new version of its Student Management solution worldwide. We are delighted to be kicking off this first deployment in France with NEOMA Business School. We are convinced that our solution, unique in its class, will clearly bring student management as a whole to new heights.”

The project is currently being deployed. A testing and trial phase is scheduled in the fall with a go-live date beginning of 2017.
