Unit4, a fast growing leader in enterprise applications for higher education institutions, today announced that Relay Graduate School of Education (Relay GSE) will replace aging legacy systems with Unit4 Student Management and Unit4 Business World On! ERP, creating a full end-to-end cloud solution for all aspects of the institution’s business operations.
Relay GSE, headquartered in New York City, chose Unit4 Business World On! and Unit4 Student Management over solutions from vendors including Workday and Ellucian, to replace aging legacy solutions. They will consolidate all data and create a single, cloud-based modern interface for students, faculty and staff. Other vendors considered during the evaluation included Workday and Ellucian.
“As a growing graduate school of education, we recognised the need for modern back-office software that could better meet our evolving needs and user expectations,” says Edmund O'Neill, Director of Products for Relay GSE. “By combining Unit4’s Business World On! and Student Management, Relay GSE will provide our users – from applicant to alumnus, from staff to faculty – a modern and integrated system that brings all functions of the student lifecycle together into one mobile-first solution.”
“We’re enabling educational institutions to upgrade the student experience with true mobile design,” said Jami Morshed, VP of the Global Center of Excellence for Education at Unit4, “providing them with an agile solution that adapts to their business processes. Unit4 Student Management provides an intuitive interface built for today’s mobile user and applies the same concepts users have come to expect from their consumer technology.”
A unique workflow engine automates manual, routine tasks in bulk, empowering staff to spend more time on higher-value activities. Using built-in analytics, administrative users can easily analyse and demonstrate improvement on key institutional metrics.
