Unit4 Wins Enterprise Solution of the Year at the European IT & Software Excellence Awards for its Work with International Non-profit

Awarded for best practice in customer solutions delivering impactful returns for Heifer International

Utrecht, Netherlands,

Unit4, a fast growing leader in enterprise applications for service organizations, was last night announced the winner in the Enterprise Solution of the Year category at the European IT and Software Excellence Awards.

The awards recognize best practice in customer solutions and service excellence from the vendor and distributor community across Europe.

From more than 500 entries, Unit4 was announced the winner based on its success working with international not-for-profit Heifer International. Commenting on the impact Unit4’s Business World enterprise software has had on the global NGO, Jesus Pizarro, Vice President and Enterprise Accounting and Controller at Heifer International says: “Achieving our current level of global visibility of financial data helped to reduce costs by more than 27% and increase program impact by 57%. To put that another way, when we started our journey in 2011 we helped 1.9 million people on an annual basis... Today we help over 3 million. That's impact."

“The judges found that the project “clearly met the customer’s need” and “the benefits were well demonstrated”, said John Garratt, Editor of IT Europa, who led the judging panel. “This was a very competitive category with many entries, but with the judges looking for evidence of returns, Unit4 hit the spot and is a well-deserved winner.”
