TickITPlus™ and ISO9001 certification
Unit4 R&D in Harrogate, UK, is the Center of Excellence for the development and support of the Unit4 Financials and Unit4 Dream software packages. Our development processes are critical to the achievement of good quality software, and we have for many years sought to demonstrate this through appropriate certifications that align best to what we do.
TickITplus™, which replaced ISO9001 with the TickIT scheme, is a software quality certification scheme designed to encourage strong software development, auditing and certification practices. Its adoption as our certification standard was a great opportunity to rationalize and improve our quality system processes and to implement some process improvements. Unit4 R&D in Harrogate became one of the first few companies to certify to the Foundation Level back in November 2012, but we didn’t stop there! As the scheme has evolved to introduce the ability to assess an organization’s process maturity, we have become the first organization to achieve a TickITplus™ Capability Level of Bronze. We achieved this milestone certification in May 2016.
We are extremely proud of this, as this demonstrates that all our staff are committed to working to efficient and effective processes, as well as providing assurance that we can deliver the quality software that our customers deserve, at a time when they want it.
Our Management System scope relates to the “Design, Development, Test, Delivery & support” of the Unit4 Financials and Unit4 Dream products.
The certification has been carried out by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), a leading global provider of independent assessment services.
Public Sector Solution of the Year
We won this award for our work with the City of Stockholm, providing systems to support its strategy to become one of the most smart and connected cities in the world. Our software supports 14,000 workers managing the City’s finance and procurement activities covering 1.5 million suppliers.
Winner in the Ventana Research 2017 Digital Innovation Awards
Unit4 Performance Management (prevero) has won the Office of Finance category of the coveted Ventana Research Digital Innovation Awards. This award recognizes the technology vendor that best exemplifies innovation in the applications and technologies that support the office of finance.
Enterprise Solution of the Year
From among more than 500 entries, Unit4 was announced the winner based on its success working with customer Heifer International. Unit4 helped Heifer improve global visibility of financial data and reduce costs by more than 27% while increasing program impact by 57%.
Connected/Mobility Solution of the Year
Unit4 was shortlisted after delivering self-driving travel and expenses to Norwegian consulting firm Bouvet. Bouvet calculates it is saving 2 years of work annually with 100% digital and mobile, automated expenses, despite a 15% rise in expense claims.
G2 Crowd Grid for Expense Management
Unit4’s Travel and Expenses solution named High Performer, earning strong customer satisfaction marks in the G2 Crowd Grid for Expense Management, Fall 2015.
Government Solution of the Year 2015
Unit4 Business World has been named Government/Utilities Solution of the Year in the European IT & Software Excellence Awards 2015 for the results it has delivered to Coventry City Council. The council’s ‘Money Matters programme’ uses the ERP solution to streamline back-office finance and procurement processes to improve the value for money and services taxpayers receive. Achieving Return on Investment (RoI) in just 154 days, the project has underpinned savings of nearly £4 million.
