Stephan was appointed CEO of Unit4 in 2016, responsible for leading the development and execution of the company's long term strategy. He joined Unit4 in 2014 as EVP Strategy and Operations and became responsible for global sales operations in 2015. Stephan previously worked for SAP where he held multiple leadership positions over more than 10 years including Managing Director of SAP Switzerland and Chief Operating Officer of the region DACH (Germany, Switzerland and Austria). He was also a member of the management team of SAP Germany. He completed an Advanced Management Program at INSEAD in 2002 and an MBA with the University of Toronto in 2007.

Gordon joined Unit4 in 2018 and has responsibility for finance, IT, legal affairs and business operations. Previously, Gordon held the position of CFO at TMF Group, a world leader in the provision of corporate, tax and HR services to businesses in more than 80 countries around the world. Before TMF, Gordon was CFO and head of offshore operations at Alexander Mann Solutions, a global leader in recruitment process outsourcing. He spent the early years of his professional career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. Gordon also previously held CFO and non-executive roles in a number of public technology companies.
Henk van den Bogaart

Henk joined Unit4 in 2017 as Chief Human Resources Officer responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic company direction, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. He joined Unit4 from Vion Food Group, an international meat producer with more than 11,000 employees. Prior to that, Henk held senior leadership positions in a number of large international organizations including Philips and Wessanen. He graduated from Nyenrode Business University in the Netherlands in 1981.
Jeroen Bruins Slot
Jeroen joined Unit4 in 2015 as its General Counsel and joined the Global Leadership Team in October 2017. He is responsible for overseeing and identifying legal issues in all departments, as well as corporate governance and compliance. He is experienced in all aspects of business law and compliance including M&A, contract law, employment law, and company secretary duties. Jeroen also has experience in company re-structures, transformations and overall organizational development. Since 2017, Jeroen has also been Chairman of the Unit4 Cares Foundation, which aims to support and raise funds for Unit4 colleagues, their partners or children, affected by critical illness. He graduated with a Master’s degree from Leiden University in 1992.

Christophe joined Unit4 in 2016 with responsibility for driving strategy, corporate development and continuous business improvement across the global business. He is particularly focused on Unit4’s M&A strategy and due diligence strengthening the company’s portfolio and offering for customers. Christophe previously worked for Bain & Company where he was a senior principal in Bain’s European Private Equity and technology practices. While at Bain, Christophe focused specifically on the software industry across Europe working extensively with financial investors and management teams on both pre-deal diligence and post-acquisition projects. He graduated from ENSEIRB-MATMECA, an engineering school in Bordeaux in 2000, and completed (top 10%) a Master’s degree from the London Business School in 2007.

Jeremias is responsible for global customer success driving business growth, customer retention and exceptional customer experiences. He is also responsible for Unit4’s regional growth and customer success across Continental Europe. He has a track record building strong customer relationships and understands the outcomes a good customer experience can provide. Before his promotion to Chief Customer Officer in 2019, Jeremias worked in sales, quickly rising the ranks to become Managing Director of the Swedish business, then Regional President of Continental Europe, one of Unit4’s largest regions.

Mike joined Unit4 in 2018 with responsibility for ensuring streamlined global go-to-market execution, from global demand generation to global sales operations and field enablement. He has 25 years’ senior leadership experience, driving people and customer success at international enterprise technology companies. Prior to Unit4, Mike had responsibility as Managing Director for SAP’s UKI Market Unit, before which he was on the Global Executive Board of Software AG, as President and COO for their Northern European and APJ Regions. Mike has also previously led IBM’s Information Management brand in the UK, and with much of his early career at Compuware. Mike graduated with a BSc in Applied Economics in 1992.

Haran joined Unit4 in 2017 as the global representative for all domestic lines of business, representing a third of the Unit4 global business. He is responsible for optimizing operational, commercial, and financial performance as well as overall portfolio performance. He joined Unit4 from smartShift Technologies, where he was EVP Corporate Strategy and GM EMEA. Haran has held a number of senior leadership positions in his career including Chief Strategy Officer and EMEA COO at Alcatel-Lucent.

Matthias was promoted to CPO for Unit4 in 2019 with responsibility for designing and bringing to market the end-to-end product and customer experience. He has shown great leadership and product vision since joining Unit4 in 2016, when Prevero became a Unit4 company. He co-founded Prevero and played a major role in growing it to a leading vendor of corporate performance management solutions.

Erik joined Unit4 in 2015 with responsibility for implementing Unit4’s product vision across the full product lifecycle comprising product management, application architecture, and research and development for all Unit4 solutions. Erik previously worked for Microsoft where he was General Manager responsible for the global Microsoft Dynamics’ cloud and on-premise solutions business for small and medium-sized businesses. Prior to that he served as Vice President Engineering, Business Solutions at Hewlett Packard and also held several executive roles at SAP. He graduated from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm in 1986 and completed an MBA at the Mannheim Business School / ESSEC in Paris in 2010.

Yujin was appointed to lead Unit4’s Asia Pacific regional operations in 2018. Based in Singapore, she is responsible for the company’s regional growth and customer success. Yujin has spent all of her career in enterprise software, including 12 years with Oracle in Korea, Singapore, and Australia. During her time with Oracle she worked on many transformational and strategic projects and held various leadership roles before deciding to permanently relocate to Singapore. Since moving back, Yujin held several senior positions including at Hewlett-Packard, Dell Software, and Software AG. Born in Korea and educated in Canada, Yujin speaks English and Korean.

Based at Unit4’s US headquarters in Burlington, Massachusetts, Scott is responsible for the company’s North America business operations spanning the US and Canada. He is responsible for the company’s growth and customer success across the continent. He joined Unit4 in early 2015 having held executive roles at enterprise technology vendors including Salesforce.com, Oracle and SAP. He holds an Honours degree from UMass Lowell University and a Master’s degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Derren joined Unit4 in 2016 as Managing Director for Unit4’s UK and Ireland operations and was promoted to his current role in September 2017. He is responsible for the company’s regional growth and customer success. He joined Unit4 from GT Nexus, a cloud based supply chain provider where he spent two years as Senior Vice President of EMEA. Prior to this Derren held a number of senior management positions at Oracle, with the most recent being European Vice President Edge applications. He graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 1992 and completed a Non-Executive Director’s Diploma from the Financial Times in 2013.

Craig is an International executive, with over 20 years’ experience in enterprise software and a strong focus on finance applications for the office of the CFO. Over that time, he has held various roles at Coda and then Unit4 in consulting, pre-sales and sales, before joining our product management team in 2010. Craig is responsible for product strategy and the development content of Unit4 Financials. He strives to achieve innovation and success by understanding market and customer requirements through rapidly changing technologies and working with development teams to ensure we deliver tangible benefits to our customers.

Erick has an extensive background in selling, supporting and developing SaaS and cloud services, taking constant delight in the dynamics involved for customers and ISVs of migrating towards cloud. As a people manager who is used to working with professionals, Erick bridges the disciplines of product marketing and business development, to create the best revenue-generating cloud services – helping customers to reduce costs and work even more efficiently.
Rob Gethen Smith
Not for Profit
Rob is an NfP specialist having worked in the sector for the last 20 years. Prior to Unit4, he was a partner at charity and membership specialists, Adapta Consulting, where he advised charities and non-profits on the effective use of information systems. He is also a trustee for the international animal welfare charity SPANA, where he chairs the Fundraising and Communications sub-committee. Rob has worked as CIO at Anthony Nolan, Southbank Centre, Tate and Macmillan Cancer Support, and as customer engagement director at Blackbaud, developing business and technology strategies and leading change initiatives. His first role in the non-profit sector was as Head of Membership Services and then Deputy Director of Fundraising at the World Wildlife Fund in the UK.
Austin has been a part of the higher education industry for over 20 years, in a wide range of roles from a university registrar assistant to product manager and industry technology strategist. Prior to Unit4, he held multiple pre-sales, product and leadership roles at Oracle, including Global Director, Education & Research Technology. Austin joined Unit4’s Higher Education team in 2018 as product director for Unit4 Student Management.
Henk Jan Onstwedder

Henk Jan is an experienced executive in the software business, who has worked in the ERP market for 25 years. Prior to joining Unit4 in 2016, he held a range of line-management roles in the software industry, covering sales, delivery and general management. Henk Jan is responsible for building Unit4’s Professional Services global value proposition, creating and delivering on industry product roadmaps, developing the ecosystem, and leading strategic sales engagements.
Thomas is passionately dedicated to technology innovation, delivering great experiences and business value to customers and has spent the last 17 years within R&D, Product Management and Global Sales at Unit4 driving our focus on delivering innovative enterprise solutions. Thomas now heads the Unit4 ERP / Unit4 Business World CoE and is also working closely with the Unit4 Innovation Lab as Product Strategist – all to deliver the next generation ERP and bring innovative technologies – such as machine learning, AI, chat bots etc. – to the world of Enterprise Applications.

Léo Apotheker became Chairman of the Unit4 Board in 2016. He has 29 years' experience in the technology industry and is currently Chairman of KMD in Denmark. He also holds positions as Vice Chairman and Lead Director for Schneider-Electric S.E, and Non-Executive Director at P2 and Nice Systems Inc. He is the former President and CEO of Hewlett-Packard Corporation, and the former CEO of SAP.

Chris Ouwinga has been a member of the Unit4 Board of Directors since 1986. He co-founded Unit4 in 1980 and under his leadership the company became one of Europe's leading suppliers of business software.
Adam Hale began his career at Accenture, where he spent 10 years running complex projects. He then became a headhunter and spent 16 years at Russell Reynolds, helping more than 200 technology firms and investors build their leadership teams and boards. He brought all his experience together when he became CEO of Fairsail, a global mid-market cloud HCM and people management software company. It became the UK’s fastest growing tech scale-up, growing from a £1m to a £10m ($12.5M) revenue business in three years. It was acquired for £115m by Sage in 2017. Adam currently holds a number of Board positions and serves as chairman of the DevOpsGroup. Within the Unit4 Board Adam will chair the Remuneration Committee.
Fred Wakeman is a Managing Partner of Advent International, joining in 1998 and has 19 years’ of private equity experience, as well as being a Non-Executive Board Member of KMD in Denmark, Oberthur Technologies in France and DFS in the United Kingdom. Fred was a Director in GE Capital's equity capital group, where he specialized in later-stage growth capital investments, primarily in the media and business services sectors in both the US and Europe. He previously held positions as Non-Executive Board Member at Radio 538, Radio Zet, HMV Media, Venere, Fat Face and Poundland.
John Woyton is a Director at Advent International, joining in 2009 from 3i Investments where he led technology, media and telecoms investment opportunities. He has over 14 years’ experience investing in the technology industry. John, who also currently holds a Board position at KMD in Denmark, began his career at UBS Investment Bank advising on capital raisings and M&A transactions in the telecoms sector, both in Asia and Europe. Previously John was an investment professional at The Carlyle Group where he was involved in a number of buyout investments and realizations in software, industrial technology, communications and technology services sub-sectors. In the past, he has held Board positions at Cameca, NP Aerospace and Orthogon Systems.
