Unit4 strengthens leadership team with senior appointments in Australia

Unit4, world leader in enterprise applications for services organisations, strengthens its leadership team with two senior appointments, in response to demand for end to end industry-specific cloud solutions in Australia and New Zealand.

Dan Ussher and Jeff Arnold have been appointed as sales directors for ANZ, where Unit4 delivers modern solutions to meet the challenges faced by traditionally high growth industries with complex business requirements. Successful, high profile projects in the region include Queensland Government’s One School Program and a business transformation program at New Zealand Post where Unit4’s Business World ERP solution has been integral. The company is particularly successful in professional services and education, which will be a big focus in ANZ, drawing on Unit4’s global footprint and domain expertise.

Unit4 brings a new approach to enterprise systems to address the global productivity challenge. An independent global study commissioned by Unit4 and published in June, found that Australian office workers waste around one third of the working year completing administrative or repetitive tasks. The survey estimated the cost of lost productivity to the service industry in Australia at more than AUD $300 billion annually.

To help reduce this immense waste, Unit4builds self-driving systems that use machine learning and predictive analytics to change the way enterprise software serves people in business. And earlier this year, Unit4 released Wanda, the first enterprise digital assistant that delivers a new out-of-the-box ERP user experience, taking over many routine daily tasks and providing a new layer of intelligence, so people can focus on what’s important and on tasks where people beat machines.
